Thank God there are many people fighting prejudice and injustice in many creative ways. I say hooray for all the nameless heros who dare to say enough of this insane abuse! No more abuse! You want to follow God! God never abused people; he showed compassion and love. Do not use God to excuse your own bad behavior! That excuse does not work anymore.

I watched the Republican Debates

I don't know the names of the Republican candidates or often like what they say. However, I did like what a couple of the debaters said. I think one of them was Ron Paul. But the one that spoke just before him said that we are not supposed to be spreading democracy all over the world, that we are supposed to protect our borders and our citizens. Or something to that effect. I rarely agree with many Republicans but that was something that I do agree with. I tried to link that video to show my readers that I do listen to and pay attention to everyone but I was not successful in embeding that video. I will try again later.

But democracy is about more than a ballot box. America must show -- through deeds as well as words -- that we stand with those who seek a better life.
