The US military is 'Earth's greatest enemy': Abby Martin The Real News Network -- It seems that I am not the only one with deep, searching questions about the structure of our societies. If we are to really consider this topic seriously, it seems to me that the root question should be about what is Sacred in life. I am not talking about religion. You are free to practice whatever religion you want as long as it doesn't create harm to others, as far as I am concerned. The same principle applies to what name you prefer to use to identify your God, Buddha, Goddess or whatever. But what are the Sacred tools that our Creator provided that makes life possible? Shouldn't we be treating them as if they are Sacred, not taking them for granted or destroying them? Things like Earth. Without Earth there is no life. Air? We can only live 3 minutes without air. Water? We can only live 3 days without water. Food? Three weeks without food is about the limit that we can survive. If we treated these things as Sacred, how would our societal structure need to change?
