Our founding fathers believed that standing armies during peacetime were incompatible with republican values, and they viewed professional armies to be too far removed from the general populace to be trusted to defend it. They have destroyed our constitution to the point that our standing armies which include all of our alphabet agencies are the enforcement arm of our deep stat.
