Jobs were shipped to countries that pay workers less. Unions were busted til there aren’t many left and none appear to be strong. Taxes on the rich have been drastically reduced and raised on the poor. Our representatives can play the stock market and accept dark money, essentially legal bribery. It is legal for police to steal your property. It is legal to propagandize the population. We have lost our right to privacy. Speech is almost gone. We haven’t had an honest press for years. We are often subjected to unreasonable search and seizure. Guns must be registered and permitted. With COVID we lost our right to assemble, freedom of movement and working on what is left of free speech and bodily autonomy. Cost of education and medical make these things largely unavailable for the poor. Lost our right to due process, legal representation and often even a trial.
