15 Strangest Things Recently Discovered In The United States - My mom managed to save enough money to buy 5 acres of land north of Roswell, NM. My dad dowsed and then dug a well on the land and we had the sweetest water in Roswell. Sometime after I left home it apparently became contaminated with the normal sulfur water found in the area so the younger children of the family don’t remember the sweet water. Just saying that dowsing does work.
