This totally changed my attitude  towards reparations! I was thinking that the people who financially benefited from slavery should be the ones that should pay for reparations. I still think that but this opened my eyes about how our own government condones and perpetuates this atrocity. It is only fair that they should pay the reparations out of our tax dollars because we are putting these racist in office and letting them do this!
